EXAMINATION TENSION

According to the dictionary, “Examination is a formal test involving answering written or oral questions with no limited access to textbooks or the likes".

An examination is given often
during the academic term to evaluate the students after they might have been taught by the teachers for the whole of the term.
On the other hand, tension is the psychological state of being tense according to the dictionary. Being tense is when someone is showing signs of stress or strain or not relaxed.

Examination tension could be an anxiety or fear that comes upon a child/student when he/ she hears of examination/test or knows that examination is near or during examination time. The symptoms of examination tension includes: fever (lower or higher body temperature, fainting and vomiting during examination period), forgetfulness, hyper fear, cold and or wet palm, shivering etc. All these occur before the examination as soon as the time table is out and get worse few minutes before the examination commences and during the examination. To some students, some of the symptoms continue until after the result is out, but to some, the symptoms leave as soon as the examination is off.
Examination tension is a serious issue and if not dealt with, it causes other problems like health issue, lack of concentration, inferiority complex, failure, loneliness, lack of assimilation and so on. If you want to be great, you have to deal with your tension.
