TEACHING AS A CAREER

A simple analogy of the process of teaching could be an egg (idea/knowledge) that is put into an incubator (mind of a learner) and after some time (assimilation, adaptation, growth, innovation etc) the product becomes a chick and turns to a hen.

A teacher improves and nurtures the learner until the learner gives a better result of what he/she has learnt from the teacher. He gains knowledge and improves himself in order to impart. He is a reader and a leader.

Teaching should be the lifestyle of a good teacher. It is a blessing and an opportunity to affect life(s). Teaching is for those who are ready to help lives and give a new life to learners of different ages. 

Teaching as a career, gives birth to all other professions. It exposes one to the broad world and gives an analytical thinking ability. It gives one the opportunity to meet and sit with nobles, though the ‘pay’ in some countries is highly discouraging. It is imperative for teachers to be paid salaries that will enable them to earn a living.
